Dorset Pairs Rules

1. Fourball Better Ball Stableford 85% handicap


2. The Dorset Pairs (DCGA) Order of Merit will be open to all players, with no entry fee, who are members of a club affiliated to the Dorset County Golf Union.


3. The top 10 positions in each event will be awarded points on the following scale: 50, 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 8, 6, 4 (ties decided by countback).


4. The total aggregated points determine position in the Order of Merit. 


5. Players are not restricted in the number of events they can enter.


6. On completion of all events, any ties in the Order of Merit will be decided by most wins, most runner-up etc


7. The Winner(s) of the Order of Merit will receive the Trophy.


8. All disputes and other matters relating to the Dorset Pairs will be decided by the Executive Committee whose decision shall be final.
