ORDER OF MERIT RULES

Both Gross & Nett Order of Merits are open to Dorset Junior Boys with no entry fee.
Players must be under the age of 18 on the 1st January 2024.
Players must be a member of a club affiliated to the Dorset County Golf Union.
There is no limit to the number of events a player may enter.
The 8 best scores will count towards the Order of Merit.
The top 15 placed Dorset Boys in each event will be awarded points on the following scale: 50, 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
The leading player in both the Scratch Order of Merit and the Nett Order of Merit will receive winning shields.
The top 8 boys in the Scratch Order of Merit will compete over match play for the Henderson Trophy.
The top 8 boys in the Nett Order of Merit will compete over match play for the Junior Trophy.
On completion of all events, any ties in the Order of Merit will be decided by most wins, most runner-up etc.
Qualifiers for the Henderson Trophy will be ineligible for the Junior Trophy.
All disputes and other matters relating to the Dorset Order of Merit will be decided by the Tournament & Competition Sub-Committee whose decision shall be final.
