Over 70s Stableford 2024

A small field of only 13 competitors attended the Over 70s Stableford at Christchurch Golf Club on the 4th of June.

The weather was cool, but the rain stayed away until the final pair were on the 18th hole.

Pamela Chard beat Janice Kay on countback with 19 points then Sara Lees and Pam Cutler both came in on 18 points. So a very close result.

Our thanks go to the Director of Golf Byron Hutcheson. Lady Captain Jackie Smith and her team of ball spotters, Diane Bartholomew and Yola Smolarek. Jacquie’s husband Dave Smith who started our ladies on their way. The greenkeeper Kevin Cailes and his team. And Michalina Perczynska and her catering team, who provided excellent food after the competition.

The Winner of the Over 70's Stableford, held on June 4th at Christchurch Golf Clubs is Pamela Chard (Top) and the Runner-up is Janice Kay (Bottom).
