Dorset County Women's 1st Team

The Dorset First Team County Squad is made up of twelve players.

Supporters are always welcome to attend matches, and we look forward to seeing you on the course in 2026, encouraging all our teams.

The team represents Dorset at the South West Region County Match Week. This leads onto a National Final should the county win.

In preparation for County Match Week, the First Team will play a series of warm up fixtures to provide match experience, and all players are expected to attend pre-season training sessions.

Several criteria are considered to help decide on players for the squad for the season. These include WHS handicap, recent form in club, county and national competitions.

The team selection is based on what is best for the team and the type of competition we are entering.
