Bronze Spring Meeting 2024

Published: 29 May 2024

Queens Park Golf Club again demonstrated their wonderful support for the Dorset Ladies County Golf at the Bronze Spring Meeting on Wednesday 29th May.

23 Ladies played in the low bronze division and 13 entered the high bronze stableford competition.

The players were blessed with a dry but windy day.

The golf course was in great condition after the heavy storms of the previous day. There was plenty of rough for golf balls to hide.

DLCGA would particularly like to thank

Dave Greenwood. QP secretary
Rod Thompson starter
Ball spotters Jacky Watton Richard Crawford
Bridget Cozx Theresa Minarelli
Lynn Scooned Lyn Matthews Sue and John Waddington
Dave Stone and his green keeping staff

Richard Cooke in the booking office And of course the essential catering staff of Sue Charlotte and Dan who provided essential refreshments before and after the rounds.

Thank you too to our DLCGA volunteers Liz Janis and Julie who have given their time to run the competition today:
