Excellent sportsmanship and some lovely golf contributed to a great finals’ day.
Congratulations go to Ferndown who won their match against Dorset Golf and
Country club and retained the Humphrey Bowl.
Congratulations to Broadstone who retained the Parkin Cup with a victory over
Ashley Wood. This match was extremely close with deciders on the 17 th , 18 th and
19th!

Thanks go to Sherborne Golf Club for hosting today and presenting the course in
such good condition and to their staff for providing a lovely afternoon tea.
Thanks also go to Claire Woolley and Angela Peel for meeting and greeting and
sorting the admin, and to Gaye Thompson for undertaking the task of “chief
organiser” for this competition.

Finally, thank you to Sue Crabb, past County President, for presenting the trophies.
